About SA Van Conversions //
The SA Vans head office is located in KwaZulu-Natal, Durban. We have two factories – one based in KZN and the other in the Eastern Cape, Uitenhage. We engineer and assemble our custom panel vans at these facilities. Currently, we employ over 80 highly skilled workers, across both locations, who have many years of experience in the van conversion industry.
Our Beginnings //
SA Van Conversions Pty Ltd was established by Michael McLoughlin, Hazel Angus and Siphelele Ntsobi when they decided to partner up, with the intention to close the innovation gap within the auto space industry. Together, the team have built an internationally recognised company that is known for their high level of quality and their exceptional engineering efficiency. With each partner having at least 15 years of experience in van customisation, the team pools an extensive skillset, offering customers all-round excellence.

Michael, Kholelike, Siphelele, Hazel, Justin and Duncan are the key leaders at SA Vans and they each bring a unique skillset to the table.
Kholekile Ntsobi
As our Business Development and Key Markets Strategist, Kholekile sets our path and purpose. With a wealth of experience in South African Healthcare, Kholekile adds value to our manufacture & delivery of Mobile Healthcare facilities.
Siphelele Ntsobi
Taking on the role of our Sales and Marketing Liaison, Siphelele gives SA Vans the competitive edge with an acute focus on community-based needs analysis as well as a special ability to select the right vehicle & conversion combination suited to the intended application.
Mike McLoughlin
Mike heads up Research & Development and keeps a careful watch of new trends & technology, keeping our builds current. He also ensures that our conversions comply with specifications, national road legislation and OEM requirements.
Lee Govender
Responsible for design, tooling and material technology, Lee is a talented draughtsman with more then 16 years of experience in the manufacturing sector. Thanks to this proposed materials & build methodology, we are able to produce well-balanced, cost-efficient build concepts with quick turnaround time.
Hazel Angus
In charge of our Budgeting & Administration, Hazel is a well-known face in the industry with over 20 years of experience in the after-market conversion sector. From interacting with customers, suppliers and staff to seeing through administrative compliance, homologation, risk analysis and human resource management, Hazel does it all – she’s the lion in our Logo!
Justin Williams
Production rests in Justin’s capable hands. As the core of our business, production is where everything comes together in one objective-driven sequence of activities.
And it is here, at the heart of and soul of production where you will find the magic of SA Van Conversions: The men and women who are not identified by titles but rather by their actual worth in terms of their daily contribution, their extraordinary commitment, on-point attention to detail and their solidarity with which they inspire and encourage one other.

SA Van Conversions Pty Ltd are proudly a BBBEE Level 2 Contributor and we comply with all industry safety standards as well as the road-worthiness regulations of South Africa (as stipulated by South Africa’s Road Transport Act of 1998). We work directly with the National Regulator for Compulsory Specification (NRCS) to enforce the homologation of all our vehicles.
